Property Rules

Please know that we love Riverdance at Conondale, the land and the animals on it. There has been a great deal of love and attention put into this house for guests and we ask that you treat it with the respect you would for your own. 

While you are not required to clean the property, it is asked that you leave it in a clean and tidy manner. It is best to take food leftovers/rubbish out to the bins in carport so that animals are not tempted inside. There are cleaning items in the house as we understand accidents happen and sometimes need to be cleaned up for safety of yourself and your guests. 

The fence around the house is electric (signed) and the fences around the property are either electric or barbed - for your own safety please don't touch these.

At no time is food to be thrown into paddocks or attempted to be fed to animals. Some food items are harmful to certain livestock and can cause serious illness or death. Please dispose of food in the bins.

Some of the livestock will come right up to the fence at the house on occasion. Feel free to take photos and say hello to them but do not attempt to feed or touch them. Whilst our livestock are friendly, they can be unpredictable and serious injury can occur to you if you get too close.

You are welcome to walk around the property - please just make contact with the host to confirm which paddocks are holding livestock. It is important that at no stage you enter a paddock with livestock.

Please remember that there are multiple open waters (dams, river and creek) so please keep a close eye on any children in your booking and do not let them wonder the property alone.

Check in/out

• Check in is from 2pm - a key safe is provided in case of late arrival.
• Check out is by 10am.
• The property does have a minimum 2 night's stay.

Guests

• The total number of guests must be selected when booking. If your group exceeds the number of allowed guests, please contact us directly first before booking to see if we can accommodate this.
• Exceeding the maximum stated guests will result in termination of the booking and all guests will be required to vacate the property without a refund.
• All guests are required to follow the property rules. If there are children in your booking it is your responsibility to make them aware of the property rules and keep watch of them.
  

Visitors

• Guests are required to contact the host prior to their stay if they are requesting visitors during their stay. 
• If visitors are accepted, it is the guest responsibility to make them aware of the property rules. 
• Visitors are to follow the Biosecurity Plan at front gate which requires them to call the farm manager phone number to advise of their arrival. Booked guests of Riverdance at Conondale are not required to make this phone call.
• PLEASE NOTE: The Biosecurity Plan is in place to keep our farm and all other farms safe, to stop the potential spread of diseases and weeds and to ensure the safety of our livestock.

Payment

• Payments are made via Stripe.
• A 50% deposit is required at time of booking. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit is made.
• The remaining amount is applied to your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival.

Cancellation

• Bookings cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of payment.
• Bookings cancelled 15 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of payment.
• Bookings cancelled after this will receive 0% refund.

Booked through Airbnb? Please refer to their Terms and Conditions which will apply.

Smoking

• Riverdance at Conondale is a smoke free home. If you do need to smoke it is to be done outside, away from open windows/doors to avoid smoke blowing inside. If there is evidence of smoking in the house a $300 cleaning fee will be charged to cover the immediate cleaning of affected items (including items affected by odour).

Damages and Cleaning Fees

• Any breakages and/or damages to the property (including its furniture and fittings) during your stay must be reported immediately and paid for prior to check out. 

Pets

• Here at Riverdance at Conondale we absolutely love animals, however we are unable to accommodate pets in bookings. 

By Booking:

I/We (the guest/s) agree to abide by the Property Rules. I/we acknowledge that the property owner will not be held responsible for any injury or loss that occurs to me/us or my/our personal items during our stay due to my/our failure to comply with the Property Rules and/or Terms and Conditions. I/we understand and agree to advise the property owner of any damages made to the property and/or furniture and fittings and pay for any such damages to be repaired/replaced.
